Welcome to Our Website

Johnsons Aggregates & IBA Recycling

Founded in 1999, the business only focused on the supply of quarried/recycled aggregates, site clearance, contract crushing and disposal of contaminated materials.

As the Energy from Waste industry developed, we recognised the potential for Incinerator Bottom Ash (“IBA”) to be carefully blended with aggregate to provide a more sustainable, lower cost and higher quality product. We developed our own unique plant in 2007 and have operated this carefully ever since. The valuable knowledge and experience gained from the initial plant has been used, (alongside knowledge gained from around the World) to develop what is widely considered as the most advanced IBA recycling facility in Europe.

By joining together our IBA processing and aggregates businesses, we guarantee our clients we are “zero to landfill” and compliance with all EA regulations. This is key to our customers which include blue chip Clients such as Viridor, FCC, MES, and Shanks.

HSQE & Affiliations

We insist on total commitment without compromise in everything we do. This is key to longevity of contracts, as the IBA market is highly regulated. We are a member of the Environmental Services Association (ESA) to ensure full knowledge of any regulation changes.
