Our Profile

At Johnsons’ we are dedicated to supplying quality products at competitive prices. With our own fleet of 24 locally maintained tipper lorries and access to many more subcontract vehicles on a daily basis we can usually offer same day deliveries.

“If we say we’ll do it – be assured it will be done!”

Our customer base ranges from major national contractors and developers that demand large tonnages over short periods of time, to cash sale private public transactions that require single figure tonnage with time sensitive deliveries. Our product knowledge and experience allows us to service all our customers’ needs.

Time Sensitive?? Our satellite tracked vehicles provide instant information on the whereabouts of your load at any given time.

Through our two complimentary divisions in aggregates and IBA we are able to treat waste as a resource and maximizing every waste stream. By doing this we can guarantee minimum impact on the environment. In the past few years, we have output 1 million tonnes of recycled aggregate, 700,000 tonnes of IBA and 600,000 tonnes of 6F2.

Johnsons Aggregates

Company Background

Founded in 1999, the business only focused on the supply of quarried/recycled aggregates, site clearance, contract crushing and disposal of contaminated materials.

As the Energy from Waste industry developed, we recognised the potential for Incinerator Bottom Ash (“IBA”) to be carefully blended with aggregate to provide a more sustainable, lower cost and higher quality product. We developed our own unique plant in 2007 and have operated this carefully ever since. The valuable knowledge and experience gained from the initial plant has been used, (alongside knowledge gained from around the World) to develop what is widely considered as the most advanced IBA recycling facility in Europe.
