Prior to joining Johnson’s in 2018, Clare built a solid foundation in finance as a Management Accountant and Finance Business Partner, gaining extensive experience.

At Johnsons, Clare plays a pivotal role as Finance Business Partner, working hand in hand with operational and commercial teams to analyse performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

“I really enjoy collaborating with different departments,. It’s rewarding to see how financial insights can directly influence strategic decisions and drive efficiencies across the business.”

Her responsibilities include cashflow management, budgeting, forecasting, multiyear financial planning, and variance analysis, as well as the preparation of detailed management reports for directors and key stakeholders. Clare also presents key financial information to senior leadership, ensuring that data is not just shared but understood.

“I see my role as a bridge between finance and the wider business. I translate complex financial data into meaningful, actionable insights that help support growth and long-term sustainability. We want to ensure every decision we make today strengthens the business for tomorrow.”

Outside of work, Clare enjoys spending quality time with her daughter and making the most of family life. She also loves to socialise with friends and relatives, whether that’s catching up over a meal, attending events, or simply enjoying good company.

“I’m a people person at heart. Being surrounded by friends and family keeps me grounded and happy.”
